So this isn’t the nicest looking thing in the world but it’s really cheap and easy (same) and tastes great too (not same) and can be made in large batches that will last ages (hopefully same)
I used onion, potatoes, sweet potatoes and scotch bonnet chillis with some spare bay leaves, I think thyme would work great here.

Nice, your foods ready to go at this point, but I also recommend throwing it in the fridge and giving it as long as you can resist before eating it, the longer you wait the more time the meat gets to absorb those flavours.
Drink with a nice dark beer.
